Pixtamer privacy policy

Last updated: 6 November 2026

Pixtamer is a Mac app that converts, compresses, resizes and renames images on your Mac. This policy covers every build of Pixtamer, including those from the Mac App Store, GitHub and Homebrew.

What Pixtamer collects

Nothing. Pixtamer does not collect, store on a server, sell or share your personal data or your images. It has no account, analytics, advertising or tracking. Sidhant Sinha, who makes Pixtamer, receives no data from the app.

How your images are handled

What stays on your Mac

Pixtamer saves your presets, settings and a list of recent exports on your Mac. They stay there until you delete them or remove the app.

Diagnostics

Help → Pixtamer Help → Copy Diagnostics puts versions, format support and error codes on your clipboard. It contains no images and no full file paths, and it is shared only if you paste it into a report yourself.

Apple

If you download Pixtamer from the Mac App Store, Apple handles that download under its own privacy policy. Apple may give developers aggregated download and crash statistics.

This website

This website has no analytics, cookies or third-party scripts. Cloudflare hosts it and may process standard request data, such as IP addresses, to deliver and protect the site.

Children

Pixtamer collects no data from anyone, including children.

Changes

Any change to this policy will be published on this page, with a new date at the top.
